Shelly and Graham made my stay at [Host] truly special. I had such a wonderful time with them and felt very welcome from the beginning. I really enjoyed feeding the animals and spending time with them. Almost every day I took the dogs for walks, which I loved. We spent a lot of time clearing the fields, and I was happy to be part of building the shelter. Graham also showed me more about working with wood, which was a great experience. I even had the opportunity to try driving a tractor and a digger – something I will never forget! I’m very grateful for that. Shelly’s cooking was absolutely amazing. I’m so glad I could try their traditional dishes. Thank you so much for this unforgettable experience!

I had a very nice stay with Terry. It was a relaxed working with breaks when I needed. Because of the British winter weather we couldn't do a lot in the garden. But we managed to prepare the greenhouse and some raised beds for the next season, did some seedings and prunings, tidy up a bit ... We took the greenwaste to the tip and I had interesting insights to the British waste system. I was allowed to help in the great community shop and Terry took me to the local nature group for an interesting lecture. Furthermore I got some new inspirations for cooking. The Croppers is a cute, cozy and sustainable house and Terry has a lot of entertaining stories.

Keesje and Olly are wonderful, welcoming people who are passionate about sharing their knowledge. This was our first WWOOFing experience, and we couldn’t have asked for anything better! If you get the chance, we highly recommend WWOOFing on their farm. For the work, with Olly we chopped wood, built a wall for a shelter, fixed a hen house, replaced fence posts, planted trees, checked the sheep/lamb, ... With Keesje, we cooked, selected herbs, dried flowers and wool etc.. Our daily morning tasks also included feeding the animals (sheep, chickens, geese, and ducks). The days are busy without being too hectic! We shared lunch with our hosts in their home, while breakfast and dinner were eaten in the separate kitchen. Olly and Keesje asked us what we would like for breakfast and dinner. The location is beautiful, and you can easily go hiking around the farm. We are very grateful to have spent a few weeks with this family, and our English has improved considerably. Keesje is learning French, so it was very rewarding to be able to translate phrases or words we were unsure of on the spot. Two wonderful dogs live on the property and will accompany you during your work, whatever the weather! If you happen to visit the farm, give them a scratch on our behalf! Once again, a big thank you, Keesje and Oliver. You have been a great inspiration to us. We hope to see you again here or in France.đŸ«¶đŸŒ

We had a great 10 days working with Tom and Alwyn. [Host] is an amazing project and we learnt a huge amount. They are so knowledgeable and passionate about the project, which was infectious! The tasks we were involved with were varied and included: Feeding some of the animals, tree guard removal, coppicing trees, some clearing/ weed removal round the vegetable beds and helping prep for a volunteer day by making and laying down woodchip. The accommodation is really comfortable, even in the middle of winter! We ate most lunches and dinners all together. We arranged our days off around what be work was going on that week, but Tom & Alwyn were happy to be flexible with this. Overall this was a great wwoofing experience, we would recommend anyone to volunteer here and we have been inspired to get involved with more conservation projects in the future!

This was my first WWOOF farm and I had a truly wonderful time! Matt+Em couldn't have been better hosts I felt very welcome and at home. I mainly worked in the garden/polytunnel prepping beds for spring planting but I also had the opportunity to help with the sheep a little. The farm itself was lovely to work on and laid out very nicely. I was able to take beautiful walks through the pastures, woodlands and marsh as well as explore Pembrokeshire as a whole. I'd recommend to anyone!

I had a wonderful time with Owain at [Host]. He's an incredible host making me feel at home immediately and we had many interesting discussions about his transition to regnerative practices. He's extremely generous in sharing his knowledge and I learned a huge amount from him. I enjoyed working with the cows and sheep - feeding them, moving them and helping with scanning the sheep. We also installed a new fenced area for the Mangalitsa pigs in some beautiful woodland. The farmland and surrounding area are stunning and I had plenty of time to explore. All in all I'd highly recommend [Host] to anyone. I hope to return to visit, especially in the summer!

Nathan, Alicia and family were great hosts and the farm was good fun (with Rocket the dog, plus 6 cats and chickens) and a nice place to be. The work was interesting and varied (for the time of year) and Nathan always took time to explain the task and the reasoning behind it. We also had interesting chats over dinner, etc. The farm is in a great location just a couple of miles from a beach and 4 miles to the nearest beach-front sauna! I imagine in summer it would be even more amazing. Overall, as my first Woofing experience, I really enjoyed it and would do it again! Thanks to Nathan and family for the warm welcome and introduction to the WOOFing world. Just one point to note: the family tend to eat quite late in the evening (often after 9) so you may want to bring some snacks to keep you going until then..!

Although it was January, there was plenty to do, sorting firewood, pruning shrubs and fruit trees and bushes, moving plants, helping with general maintenance, a creative project and organising the workshop. My accommodation was very comfortable, and Barry and Rene made me feel more at home than when I am at home. We shared delicious meals, they introduced me to the area, and I hope that some of their inspiration has rubbed off onto me.

My experience at Jill's is beyond words. I've been lucky to spend 2 months there during winter and I don't even know where to start to give a truthfull review. Jill's project is incredible and to have been part of it is very rewarding and an honor to me. It was indeed physical, but her fabulous cooking skills gave me enough strength and energy to cary on every day. I'll cherish every night by the fire, cuddling Tenga the adorable doggo, and having endless talking with Jill, about the world, ecology, politics. I can't wait to see Re-inversnaid evolving through the years, as I'm sure you'll cary on doing something wonderful, for nature and humans. Thanks again Jill for your patience and everything you taught me. I hope to come back very soon.

I worked at [Host] Farm for three weeks over Christmas and New Year and am incredibly grateful for the time we spent together. The people I met are very warm, generous, and committed to what they do. Animal welfare is very important to them, and it was a great pleasure to see how well the cows and oxen were treated. You work in teams of 2-3 people, with one permanent member always present, which gave me a sense of security, especially when dealing with the oxen. Wwoofers help 5-6 hours a day, 6 days a week, and it's good not to pay too much attention to the time because there are many breaks during the day, but that also means that the days are long overall and you don't get away from the farm very often. The farm is a spiritual place; as a Wwoofer, you hear mantras every day and experience some of the spiritual practices of the Hare Krishna movement – it's good to bring a little interfaith openness with you here. Thanks to Sita Ram, Rasa, Sophie, Dom, Helena, Claudia, and Jaana for this incredibly enriching time, hospitality, and experience of a farm that cares deeply about animal welfare!

I had a great time with Anne and Mathew. They really made me feel at home. Anne knowledge about growing and preserving is inspiring. I learned a lot while I was there, from making apple cider vinegar to yogurt... Lots of information and learning. The weather wasn't great while I was there but me and Mathew still managed to fix some raising beds and start their new poll tunnel. Reggie and Mabel (the dogs) and are also very friendly and fun. I can really recommend their place if you want to learn about growing your own vegetables and sustainability. Thank you Anne and Mathew
