We are a family run smallholding, working on organic principles for the last 30 years. We have 14 acres, with another 50 acres on the Lizard peninsula. We have orchards, a large vegetable and soft fruit garden and keep poultry, geese, horses and bees.
We are 5 minutes from the coast and close to many good surfing beaches.
Help required with all sorts of projects, woodland management, and green timber build, as well as the usual seasonal work.
Our busiest time is harvesting apples and crushing for juice/making cider, from September through to December.
We are happy for any unskilled labour, any skills a bonus.
Food is all home produced and eaten together.
Accommodation is in a caravan, and there is use of a bathroom 20m from the caravan in the main house.
Organic methods: Our Farm operates on Organic principles for the last 30 years.
Certifications: were certified organic by soil association back in 1986 and have never had need to pay to be certified organic since!
