House and garden
Moray
Our large organic garden in lovely countryside in rural Speyside supplies food for ourselves and surplus currently for neighbours and friends. We have welcomed many WWOOFers over the last 10 years (all positive references) and really enjoy being hosts. Opportunities for learning are mostly in the vegetable garden - tending vegetables, cultivation techniques etc - but we also offer the chance to assist with and learn a variety of DIY and craft skills such as building maintenance on sheds, greenhouse, etc., baking and yoga according to interest.
Accommodation is in a wooden, 2-person cabin with access to facilities. Food provided, catering arrangements negotiable.
The nearest town is 2 miles away with good basic shops, ATM, chemist etc. Bicycles are available to borrow, and lifts would be available by arrangement or in the event of emergencies. Internet and mobile reception average. Can only accept WWOOFers with their own insurance!
Certifications: we don't use chemicals and garden totally organically, but are too small to register
Current projects: Shed building will be happening this summer, plus making new beds for fruit - raspberries and strawberries. These will be made on 'no-dig' principles.

Staying with Ann and Charlie was one of those experiences that stays with you long after you’ve left. From the moment I arrived, I felt genuinely welcomed into their home and their world.
The work itself was a wonderful learning experience — varied, meaningful, and carried out at a pace that felt truly human and respectful. Nothing rushed, nothing overwhelming; just honest, rewarding days that left you feeling productive rather than drained.
The food was a highlight in itself. Meals made with fresh local vegetables and fruits, healthy and full of flavour — the kind of eating that reminds you how good simple, honest food can be.
But what made this stay truly special was the family atmosphere. Ann and Charlie are warm, generous people, and the conversations after dinner were some of the richest I’ve had in a long time — full of shared stories, insights, and laughter. I left with far more than I expected: new skills, new perspectives, and a real sense of connection.
The shed where I stayed was wonderfully comfortable and set in an incredibly peaceful spot — the perfect place to rest and recharge after each day.
100% recommended. I am deeply grateful to Ann and Charlie for their hospitality, their generosity of spirit, and the countless experiences they shared so openly. A truly exceptional experience.

I stayed with Ann and Charlie for a weekend, and I would definitely recommend staying longer if you can! They are truly wonderful people with so much warmth, wisdom, and knowledge to share. It was such a gift to get a glimpse into their world and learn more about gardening. Ann is a "bobaas tuinmaker" as we would say in Afrikaans and Charlie creates the most beautiful things out of wood-you must ask him to show you his clocks it is absolutely amazing. It felt like I was visiting family for the weekend. They were incredibly welcoming, and the highlight my day was sitting down for a cup of tea and listening to their life stories. I also really enjoyed taking walks around Ingelneuk and they gave me some good recommendations for exploring the area. Dufftown itself is a small town full of character (and lots of whisky!). Thank you so much for the visit Ann and Charlie, it is definetely an experience I will never forget!

I had a very, very lovely time with Charlie and Ann. They are both very kind and friendly and were very eager to make sure I was comfortable.
The work was weeding, picking fruits (I was very lucky to stay at Ingleneuk when the raspberries where ripe), painting, composting... It was a good mixture of different tasks and I never grew tired of any of them. Ann made sure I knew what to do (and that I take breaks), and I would sometimes work with her and sometimes on my own.
The landscape in the area is absolutely beautiful. There are great forests, rivers and hills nearby to explore (and you will have enough time to do so). It's really worth it climbing one of the hills to have an amazing view of this lovely region.
I'm very grateful for staying with Ann and Charlie, for learning new recipes (I loved the Tassajara cake!), for their kindness and gentleness, for our game night, for the healthy and tasty food, for the chance to do some nice work... For anybody who's considering it I would really recommend wwoofing with Charlie and Ann! You can be sure to have very friendly hosts, to work in a nice garden, to see a gorgeous part of Scotland and to get to know a nice way of growing your own vegetables.
Many thanks to Charlie and Ann for the splendid time I had with them!

I had the most special week with Ann and Charlie. Both Ann and Charlie are so incredibly kind and made my stay one I will remember for a long time! I spent the week with my hands in the dirt, and doing lots of exploring of the absolutely stunning countryside around their house. Ann and Charlie gave me so many great suggestions and plenty of time to explore. Thank you for the great conversation, food, tea, and for that wonderful trip to Auchindoun! I feel so refreshed and fulfilled after my week wwoofing with you all. I would recommend this place to any WWOOFer!

Spending a week at Ingleneuk with Charlie and Ann was fantastic experience! the accommodation was great and 3 meals a day (with a lot of products home grown) was a real bonus.
The work was mainly weeding the vegetable garden, a bit of wood chopping and other general chores, with Ann sharing her knowledge and experience in how to do these chores it was a great learning experience.
A fantastic part of Scotland to discover (including the Glenfiddich distillery (-: ) and beautiful local walks to do in the afternoons the week flew by.
Charlie and Ann are a walking encyclopedia and we had many interesting conversations, thanks for everything and hopefully we will meet again.
