We are looking for long term woofers for the 2025 summer season. (June - end Sept) Ideally suited for a couple or friends happy to share onsite accommodation who are keen to help during the busy and exciting summer months on the market garden in beautiful Perthshire countryside. Ideally from June-end September but will consider shorter stays - minimum 1 month. Since 2015, we’ve been growing fresh flowers, fruit, vegetables and herbs on a 5-acre site at Comrie Croft in gorgeous rural Perthshire, Scotland, with the aim of creating a beautiful and abundant garden that can inspire creativity, provide for the local community and connect people to the land. Our team of growers work hard all year-round to keep providing fresh, local veg, fruit to subscribers to our Veg Share scheme, restaurants and local stockists. Our floristry team lovingly crafts wild and distinctively beautiful flower arrangements for weddings, funerals, wreaths and bouquets, working with the seasons, using flowers and foliage grown right on site. We are a team of young(ish) farmers running a market garden going into our 9th year of production and grow a wide range of vegetables, fruits, herbs and flowers. We practice min-til soil management and follow organic principles without certification due to the fact we direct sell most of the produce. Using bio-intensive production methods and wildlife friendly techniques we try and maximise our soil health whilst maintaining high productivity. The veggies and fruit are sold through our CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) box scheme for 26 weeks of the season and sell to other retailers, onsite cafe, onsite farmshop, local restaurants and caterers. The flowers are mainly sold to wedding parties and to local florists. What we are offering Accommodation onsite in comfortable static caravan - access to kitchen facilities, washing machine and composting toilet onsite Showers and flush toilets 3 minute walk from market garden Use of bikes All basic foodstuffs and veggies from the farm Contribution towards living expenses Possibility of additional paid work at Tea Garden Café or Comrie Croft - (availability depending) What we are looking for: roughly half of each day helping the team on the farm Generally getting involved every weds / thurs / fri morning - with some weekend cover as per the weekend rota Tasks will be focussed mainly on production of vegetables with emphasis on help with planting, weeding and harvesting. I volunteered at Tomnah'a market garden for 3 weeks in November. It is an amazing place and I've learned a lot there. Sam and Judith are very nice people, willing to teach and share their experience. There's also plenty of people coming to Tomnah'a to volunteer once in a while, and it was great to meet them all. I definitely recommend volunteering at Tomnah'a if you want to learn gardening and participate in an inspiring community-based project. Many thanks for this wonderful experience ! :)

Very nice and young host, the only place made me felt I’m work for volunteer but not a worker. Learn a lot in the farm. Sam willing to share farming knowledge and teach patiently. I said I sprain my waist earlier, he teach me technique how to hold the tools to avoid body get hurt. They have very clean and tidy caravan and with heater and stove, will not get cold in the night. A lot of stars in the night. I saw rainbow in early morning! Bus stop just outside of the farm. Very convenient and you can visit a lot of place or tracking at Comrie Croft.

Such a fantastic place! Of the dozen or so farms we have visited, Tomnaha was by far the best. Sam, Judith and Cristy are amazing hosts and lovely people. The work is extremely diverse, and unlike the vast majority of wwoof farms there is very little weeding to be done! The caravan we stayed in was fantastic, and the large tent(with bed, couch and cooking area) was pretty decent as well. Only downside was the longish walk to the toilet/shower area. The area is stunning, and a day walk up into the highlands is a must. The sense of community is very strong, and the whole area bustles with activity. Much less isolating than many wwoof farms. If you get a chance to wwoof here, take it!

I volunteered at Tomnah'a for about a month, and during my stay Sam and Judith taught me a lot about growing/planting/harvesting all kinds of vegetables in an organic way. On top both being wonderful hosts, their mission/ethos was definitely something worth working for and I'm very happy I could contribute to that by wwoofing at their farm.

I've been welcomed by Judith and Sam. They run a true and humane project, which is to me a perfect rely for the local responsibility and politic. What to say about my stay ? I had a great first experience. Judith and Sam are very attentive, warmly, helpful. They enjoy any help, depending on your wishes. They deserve to be met, they have been a great company for these two weeks I spent with them. May we see us again !

In the couple of weeks we spent with the Tomnah'a team we really had a fantastic time! It was a real organic vegetable growing experience, with lots of picking, planting, composting, seeding... They are very kind people, and willing to show and explain what they do, their projects and plans for the community suported bussiness. Plenty of veggs to eat and a great tent for acommodation (despite can be quite cold some nights and it's a bit far from other facilities). Above all, very good experience! Definitely, it is worth! Thanks again
