I spent a lovely week with John and other woofers. The work was light with plenty of free time to enjoy and explore the city of Lincoln and surroundings. The pigs and alpacas were great. Unfortunately no goats or chickens. John is a great host spending time many evenings playing cards and socialising making a really social atmosphere.

I had a wonderful experience staying at John’s farm as a WWOOFer with my son. John, along with Tim and Andy, welcomed us very warmly. As this was my first experience as a WWOOFer, it was truly amazing! During our stay, we were lucky to meet another WWOOFer who came from my home country, which made the experience even more special. We enjoyed speaking in our native language and working together. The work we did included tree planting and painting a newly built lodge, which was both enjoyable and rewarding. I’m really looking forward to seeing the lodge completed in the future. In the evenings, we spent time together playing card games, and the brownies and flapjacks baked by Tim were absolutely delicious. We also enjoyed watching a movie in the shepherd’s hut that Tim built. There was plenty of free time to relax and explore, and we loved interacting with the animals on the farm, including pigs, alpacas, and sheep. The one-month-old piglets were especially adorable—we almost wanted to take them home with us! The environment is perfect for those who enjoy nature and a relaxed atmosphere, and everyone was always kind, patient, and supportive. I would love to visit again and see everyone in the future. Thank you again to John, Tim, Andy, and Joanna for such a memorable and enjoyable stay!

I had wonderful stay on [Host] Farm. John and other wwoofers and very friendly. They showed me around the farm and even drove me to the town for sightseeing. It was an off season in November so there was not too much work to do. But John let me pick grapes and do whatever I like. I tried making grape juice and fed the farm animals. It was so much fun for me and I really enjoyed trying something new. I hope I could visit and do wwoofing again in summer time:)
