I had wonderful stay on [Host] Farm. John and other wwoofers and very friendly. They showed me around the farm and even drove me to the town for sightseeing. It was an off season in November so there was not too much work to do. But John let me pick grapes and do whatever I like. I tried making grape juice and fed the farm animals. It was so much fun for me and I really enjoyed trying something new. I hope I could visit and do wwoofing again in summer time:)

Hi,
We have been working one month in the farm and it was quiet. John and Mickey are realy kind and funny, spending time with them has been a plaesure for us. Looking after the alpacca, pigs and sheep was cool ! The surroundings were pretty and Lincoln is a nice city to visit 😁

Perfect farm to finish a trip! laughs and drinks with Mickey, sings and dances with Tim and tries to beat John at the card and at pool (impossible)
The work is not complicated and good atmosphere, I recommend !

We had a great stay at John's 'Fen Farm' in Lincoln! We've been cuddling the sheep and feeding the alpacas, turkeys and greedy little piglets! :)
John is a very laid back guy, who won't overwork you, but who'll make you feel welcome at the farm.
I stayed for three nights as a little holiday with my step daughter, who enjoyed herself too.
It wasn't very busy during our short stay and we felt more like holidayers than workers at the farm. We went out every day to visit the city centre with lovely shops on a steep hill. We had plenty of time to visit the castle, church and go for a bike ride near the farm.
There are lots of lakes and parks around and we decided to borrow a tandem bike from the farm to explore.
Besides 'taming the alpacas' we helped with the holiday guests, which took us a max. of 3 hours a day (or less). By midday John usually took us into town and then picked us up again every evening. :)
'Food' is self-catering and John will pay for your shopping at the supermarket!
There is a spacious caravan with two bedrooms, a bathroom, kitchen and living room in it. The first night we slept in one of the guest apartments though, which too had all necessary amenities and was clean and proper nice.
Or you can park your own campavan in the yard without problems.
I recommend independent people or jung pairs of two to stay here, as you have to be somewhat able to sort out your work day a bit by yourself and find your way around and organise yourself. :)
