My stay at Mei's was very lovely, she is open and fair with the work and wants to make sure you have a comfortable stay whilst cooking you dinner every week night Monday to Friday! Her property is gorgeous as well as the surrounding areas! Highly recommend her place! 😊

Mei is a very lovely host. She checked in to see whether everything is alright, she made sure I always had plenty of food, she asked for my opinion on some of the landscaping, and she is a great cook! Her land is in a beautiful location and you get some lovely views of the surrounding hills. The work was a lot of landscaping, weeding and general work around the house, as well as helping out some of Mei's friend-neighbours. Sometimes the communication was a bit tricky, but Mei seems to be very open about addressing any issues and just clearly stating your opinion. Personally, I think it pays off to stay at Annwn with your own bike or car as the area is quite remote. There's not really any good public transportation and not many great destinations within walking distance. There are a lot within driving distance, though! That said, if you prefer to just enjoy the area and don't want to do much sightseeing (like I did), Mei's is a very good place to stay. All in all I had some very good two and a half weeks with Mei and I'm very grateful for my time at Annwn. And I really hope to see you again!

I loved staying with mei as she was so lovely and sweet, always checking we had we needed and her home and surroundings are beautiful and calming, I'm going back to help her with future projects and can't wait to see what she accomplishes with her eco home. I did a spot of fishing in the river on her property and it was brilliant, especially the little lake with the boat.

I had a lovely time with Mei in the Scottish countryside! My work mainly consisted of chainsawing logs for the woodburner and helping with computer and household tasks. She was very generous and gave me time to visit nearby towns, talk with local folk and go on a walk to Loch doon. The walk was about 2.5 hours return from the property. The first few days were quite cold but we managed. It brought beautiful fresh snow which was pretty. I'd recommend staying with Mei if you're looking for a scenic and remote experience. Thanks Mei!
