My family and I have a small farm between Dundee and St Andrews. I'm attempting to renovate the old farm buildings and to return the farm to traditional methods, it has been farmed industrially for a long time and it'll take a lot of work to rehabilitate it.
I need help in establishing and maintaining the vegetable garden and with general farm duties maybe some baby care if you wanted it and are capable! There are a number of large projects requiring skilled labour, replacing old shed roofs etc, it would be good to have someone with experience to help with this.
To finance the farm project I work at sea so ideally I need someone who could look after the place when I'm gone. It would be beneficial to bring in a wwoofer who could stay for a number of months.
The farm is a lovely wee place providing good walks in beautiful countryside. By car St Andrews is 15 minutes away, Dundee 10 minutes. The nearest train station is in nearby Cupar (8 minutes drive), you can get from there into Edinburgh in just over an hour. There are regular buses to the towns that will pick you up at my road end.

I live locally so just have been spending a few hours a week at Forret Mill, I haven't stayed over. A beautiful location with lots of potential and I have enjoyed making a contribution to this. Friendly people so we chat as hard as we work! Definitely recommend.
