We are a small farm in mid Cornwall. Farming has been in the family for several generations. Although we are not registered as an organic farm, we do run it as one. Our farm is made up of sheep and cider, there is always plenty to do around the farm and no two days are the same. We lamb in the winter/spring, make hay and do Cornish hedging in the summer and apple picking/cider making in the autumn. We have a room available and use of the bathroom and kitchen, you would be welcome to spend your evenings with us. In exchange for food and board we would expect help with the general day to day running of the farm. The accommodation is away from the farmhouse, with the use of facilities in the house. • Organic methods: Although we are not certified organic we run our farm organically and do not allow any sprays at all. • Certifications: We run our farm organically. • Current projects: We generally have lots of different projects on the go. • Profile: If you have any skills related to wiring or electricity, that would be great. If not, no worries we welcome everyone who is motivated to help! • Internet access available

I had a lovely stay with Trevor and his family. Really welcoming, brilliant stories and good work. Loved learning about his cider and sheep and helping out for a short time during the lambing period. Delicious food and lots of lovely dogs. Thanks for having me!

Dog lovers will enjoy the pack of 6 lively and enthusiastic dogs who live on the farm. Trevor, Karen and family are lovely folks from whom I learned a lot. This was only my second WWOOFing experience, and I found Trevor to be consistently patient and kind with his feedback. He is calm and easygoing in his manner. We got to take care of the sheep, build tables for his cider events, paint walls, and tend the garden. There were lots of visitors from all over the world throughout the two weeks I was there, customers coming to buy his award-winning cider. The sleeping quarters were clean and dry with a comfortable bed. This family has lots of experience with WWOOFers, so great for those like myself who are still new to volunteering.

Trevor is a lovely bloke with a brilliant farm. It was great work and easily put my mind to rest which was exactly what I was looking for. Trevor is a great host, who keeps you fed three times a day, the bedroom is brilliant and the location is beautiful. I got to herd sheep! Which was so sick.

I learned so much while working at Trevor’s! It was always a solid days work, starting with feeding the sheep and then a mix of activities - while there I pressure washed and painted the front gate, strimmed the orchard, cleaned out some of the different spaces.. they were long days but I always felt very accomplished at the end. Trevor and his family also made some amazing food! I’m still thinking about the Sunday roast. I really appreciated all I learned about the cider making process as well, and the cider there is delicious! I even brought 3L home.

I had a fun experience at Trevor’s! Everyone was very welcoming, and Trevor is a kind and patient teacher. I really enjoyed working with the sheep and cider, it’s such a lovely combination! It was also a pleasure to feel included in the family and be able to join in on things like going to the market or meeting neighbors. I’d agree with other reviewers that it’s definitely a good bit of hard work, and not a holiday, but that’s to be expected with WWOOF. Great experience overall, thanks for having me!
