My name is Emma Gray and I live with my husband Ewan Irvine and our seven-year-old son Len on the beautiful Isle of Bute.
We run a flock of 700 crossbred ewes, and 30 crossbred cows, we also specialise in training sheepdogs for sale and competition
For me there is no average day on our farm which is half of the joy, but we would hope to enlist woofers to help us with all of our activities including animal management, sheep dogs, cows et cetera some estate management, i.e. fencing walling.
We would love to have someone who would be keen to help us start our own vegetable garden. Someone who enjoys working with dogs would be great, and we also have two highland ponies.
We have a beautiful former Airbnb accommodation with a modern kitchen and Seaview just 10 minutes from the main farmhouse
A massive part of our life is our dogs to the extent that we often spend our weekends competing with them.
My husband enjoys playing golf and also enjoys other outdoor activities such as canoeing and kayaking rock climbing walking etc
