My time at Keythorpe Hall was fantastic and I would highly recommend to other wwoofers, especially those interested in agri-hospitality. What amazing and interesting work!! The accommodation was very convenient and spectacularly beautiful, hosts Barbara and Giles and their family are lovely and welcoming, and work in the garden led by Perry is not only enjoyable but extremely informative. I learned so much during this experience and really felt that i was able to become more confident and well rounded in my gardening.

I've recently come back from spending a month with Chris and thoroughly enjoyed it. Chris is a good, friendly host and is very knowlegeable about growing vegetables and herbs. Having lived off grid for decades he also knows a lot about renewables. I did a variety of jobs - prepared vegetable beds, sowed seeds, chopped wood, collected seaweed on the beach for compost, turned the compost heap etc. This is a great place to get away from it all and the house where I stayed is comfortable and cosy and situated in the most amazing landscape. I definitely recommend a stay with Chris.

I had a really great experience with Cate and George at Sandy Lane Farm. I couldn't have asked for a better introduction to wwoofing/the organic farming world. I had the pleasure of working alongside an amazing group of people who I enjoyed getting to know over my visit. Everyone always made sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed. The farm was well organized and there was always lots to do. The working days were well structured and I felt my contribution was valued. I look forward to visiting again someday. Thank you!!!

This was our first woof experience and we enjoyed it ! Even if we don't speak English very well, Jo and Adam were welcoming, kind and very patient. The vegan food was really yummy ! We cooked together almost every time. We took the breakfast in the collective kitchen. We started to work at 9am, we had a break at 11am for a cup of tea and then we worked 1h30 before the lunch and 1h30 after the lunch. But the timetable was not fix. Usually, we finished at 3:30pm. Maybe, this is not the place if you want a lot of time alone but if you want to meet people and talk about a lot of subjects, it will be perfect for you ! The activities was very varied : preparing the beds, planting and sowing, building supports for beans and tomatoes but also other tasks like storing wood and pitching a tente for an event... We worked a lot under the rain, but always in a good mood ! The land is great to walk and you have printed and guided walks. We loved discover the art of pottery with Adam. Both were attentive to our needs and dificulties. Jo even made a cake for Louise's birthday !! The shepherd's hut was so cozy !! Thank you for welcomed us :)

We had a fantastic time with Angie, Andy and their dog Ruby. Not only did we learn a lot about gardening, permaculture and conservation projects in the area, Andy, Angie, and Ruby took the time to hang out with us too. All members of the crew got stuck into walking, lake-ing, and gardening, and Ruby delighted us with her impressive catch and agility skills. The food (and drinks!) that Angie and Andy prepared were delicious and both shared stories from their cool lives and inspired us with their knowledge and passion. Thank you you three!

I spent two weeks at [Host] and it has been fantastic. The garden is beautiful and it is a pleasure to work there. But according to me, a stay at [Host] is beyond gardening. I learned so many things, had so many inspiring talks with incredible people and ate such great food. People of [Host] are really kind and attentive. I am grateful to have had the chance to meet all these people and I am looking forward to coming back

Staying with Ann and Charlie was one of those experiences that stays with you long after you’ve left. From the moment I arrived, I felt genuinely welcomed into their home and their world. The work itself was a wonderful learning experience — varied, meaningful, and carried out at a pace that felt truly human and respectful. Nothing rushed, nothing overwhelming; just honest, rewarding days that left you feeling productive rather than drained. The food was a highlight in itself. Meals made with fresh local vegetables and fruits, healthy and full of flavour — the kind of eating that reminds you how good simple, honest food can be. But what made this stay truly special was the family atmosphere. Ann and Charlie are warm, generous people, and the conversations after dinner were some of the richest I’ve had in a long time — full of shared stories, insights, and laughter. I left with far more than I expected: new skills, new perspectives, and a real sense of connection. The shed where I stayed was wonderfully comfortable and set in an incredibly peaceful spot — the perfect place to rest and recharge after each day. 100% recommended. I am deeply grateful to Ann and Charlie for their hospitality, their generosity of spirit, and the countless experiences they shared so openly. A truly exceptional experience.

For my first Woofing experience, I couldn't have chosen a better place. Andrea is an amazing person. Thanks to her patience and knowledge, I learned a lot about farm life. I also felt at home with her whole family from the very first day. Even though I don't speak much English, it was never a problem since we could also communicate in Spanish. Thank you so much for this wonderful experience. I’m leaving with great memories and I hope to come back someday! ;) y hasta pronto espero !

I had an amazing time at [Host]! Emma and Niall were so welcoming and treated me like a part of the family from day one :) The work was varied and gave me the opportunity to spend time on different parts of the incredible estate during my six-week stay - in the orchard, processing firewood, managing the plants and trees across the property, and edging the lawn. I got to work with Steve, Kenny, and Joseph on different days and they were all lovely to work with! I got to help bottling the gin with Lindsey in the distillery which was great fun, and was also invited to the gin school to try mixing different flavours. I loved meeting the broader team over the delicious lunches at the cafe and was lucky enough to be there for the staff team-building day at Inveraray too! The accommodation in the Arch was fantastic and you couldn't beat the view! Fantastic people, fantastic place, and fantastic memories - I couldn't recommend the wwoof more!
